PSD Considers Enetering The Government

During a six hour meeting,  PSD leaders tried to establish weather to enter the Government or remain in the opposition, weather to go with PD or PNL  .

PSD leaders do not want early elections but they consider reaching the. Cluj County leader  Ioan Rus proposed yesterday at the meeting that PSD should enter the Government .   His point : “PSD cannot be an opposition party because it has the psychology  of governing. If we cannot be an opposition party, we might as well consider ruling”.

When certain PSD branch leaders expressed their opinions  on his “ his secret deals with Traian Basescu and PD”, the Cluj County leader denied the allegations. He also waved accusations that he eyes the position of PM or  a ministerial appointment.   Rus’s proposition was taken into consideration by the party leadership. An official decision delegated party leader Mircea Geoana to form a team and start negotiations with the other parties to for a “transparent majority” that would support a new Government.
