Police is following a few suspects in the case of a cameraman from TVR who was beaten on Saturday before a local soccer derby.
The incident happened Saturday night at before the match between local teams Steaua and Dinamo. Robert Cristea, cameraman with the Romanian National television or TVR was beaten with a chain by a few supporters of FC Steua.
The man cought the whole incident on tape even though his camera was smashed.
Romanian gendarmerie identified one of the aggressors and according to sources within the police he was on hearings : Nicolae Gheorghe (aged 25 ) also called “the doughnut “ is the one who broke the camera.
Five others were identified by the police but could not be found for hearings.
