Suspended President Traian Basescu Reveals Romania's Oligarchs

Romania’s suspended President Traian Basescu named Romania’s “transition oligarchs” during a meeting with his supporters at Cluj city , western Romania.
The first on Basescu’s list is oil mogul Dinu Patriciu, considered „ the true leader on the National Liberal Party or PNL and of the Government”, followed by PM insotit de Calin Popescu-Tariceanu.
Next in line is Conservative Party or PC, Dan Voiculescu, who “for 17 years has been modifying the political decisions in his favor”, and former economy minister Dan Ioan Popescu, the one who founded “the wicked system used for Romania’ selling energy”.
Basescu continued his list with Verestoy Attila, accused of getting control over food stamps illegally, and ended with Viorel Hrebenciuc, who, along with former President Ion Iliescu, is considered “the puppeteer and engineer behind the Parliament’s suspending President because they are afraid Prosecutors will soon reveal their part in the 1990 Revolution.
