Romania’s PM Calin Popescu-Tariceanu accused the chief of Romania’s Communications and Information Technology Watchdog or ANRCTI with dismissal from office.
According to ministerial sources, Tariceanu announced ANRCTI chief Dan Georgescu, through communications’ minister, Zsolt Nagy.
”Tariceanu considers that, during the discussion with Romtelecom representative , ANRCTI’s president presented him false information regarding the frame regulations in the field, data which were different even from those presented earlier to the communications’ minister. The Premier asked the minister to tell Georgescu that if it happends again he will be dismissed”, the quoted sources said.
The dispute between the two regards the regulations for inter-connecting prices since many operators compoaied of the negative effects of delaying establishing a regulation cutting them down.
