Four hundred Romanian soldiers from the 32 Battalion will leave at the beginning of august in a special mission in Iraq.
One of the 400 is Cristian Canuci, with two graduated faculties and he is a student at the third, has a house in Craiova and a wife and a child.
He, along with his colleagues will be leaving at the beginning of August for six months in the Dhi Har province in south Iraq. The group’s mission is not a military one, but for assuring supports for the Iraq people. 95% of them are not on their first mission.
Cristian Canuci is on his third mission. The first one was in 2002 in Kosovo, for six months and two years later he left for Iraq. “If here there are 45 degrees during the day, over there were 65 degrees, but the temperature was easier to bear. Probably we will have to adapt to sand storms and I think that after two weeks, we will have no problems.
