Managers of multinationals are doing well in Romania

STUDY. Managers of multinationals in Romania have a purchasing power greater than those from Austria, France, Germany, the UK or U.S., according to a study conducted by the consultancy firm Hay Group.

Directors of multinationals on the local market are in eight place in a top which includes 51 countries and which took into account the average remuneration of a head of department or business unit in a multinational, the legal fees for the salary and cost of living.

"Romania has already become an El Dorado for managers, especially those from Asia, where the available revenues are considerably lower", explained Harry Meintassis, general director of Hay Group Romania. The greatest purchasing power managers is held by the managers of Qatar, UAE and Saudi Aradia.
