Jurnalul National Junior Editor Braches Professional Conduct

The deposition-interview showing Romania’s President collaborated with Communist Secret Services, presented by the Conservative Party or PC  was carried out Dan Constantin, junior editor with PCs President daily, Jurnalul National.

Bogdan Ciuca, PC spokesman, presented the deposition-interview rejected by the CNSAS College last week .

The images revealed a showing fact: the interviewer is actually  Dan Constantin, the second in command at Jurnalul National, a daily  owned by PC, the one incriminating the president.

the interview was not published in the paper or at la Antena 3, TV station where  Constantin collaborates, but was sent instead  at Romania’s Communist past researcher CNSAS.

Dan Constantin failed to make any comments, however, his boss journalist  Marius Tuca, said that as long as the interview has nothing to do with the paper “there is no problem”.

However, Cristian Tudor Popescu, president of the Romanian Press Club said that the journalist breached professional ethics in this case

“The journalist breached professional conduct codes by giving a journalistic product to the use of a political  party”, Tudor Popescu explained.
