Erste Bank offers the largest amount to its stockholders: 2,7 lei (1,08 dollars) per share. Petrom has announced yesterday that it intends to offer its stakeholders a crude dividend of 0,0191 lei per share for the past financial year, a 6,7% increase compared to the previous year.
The total amount given to the stockholders is about 1.082 billion lei (293 million euros), which is 65% of the net income of the company. The dividends will be distributed beginning with May 22nd.
Petrom recorded a total revenue of almost 13 billion lei last year, which is 6,8 lower than the previous year. The net income plunged 22%, to 1,77 billion lei.
The Romanian drug manufacturer, Antibiotice Iasi will grant a dividend of 0.027 lei per share for 2007. The company registered a 31 million lei profit last year. The Financial Investment Society Muntenia is willing to issue a 0,07 lei dividend per share.
Another banks present in the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) that will offer money to their shareholders is BRD, a member of Groupe Societe Generale. BRD will issue dividends of 0,59 lei per share.
