Five days before arriving in Bucharest for the NATO Summit, George W. Bush addresses the Romanian people through EVZ. President George W. Bush recommended the Bucharest administration to negotiate the issue of visa’s for Romanian citizens who want to enter the US, bilaterally, with the Washington administration, as an alternative to the current negotiations that are instrumented with the European Union.
The statement was issued for “Evenimentul zilei” newspaper, which was present on Wednesday at the White House, along with other three newspapers, from the Great Britain, Ukraine and Croatia, during a conversation with the American president.
Four newspapers, from four countries were invited at the White House before the NATO Summit that will take place in Bucharest, at the beginning of April.
The president revealed America’s intentions toward one of the most important reunions in the history of NATO, through Evenimentul zilei, Glavred (Ukraine), Branca Slavica (Croatia) and Times (Great Britain).
Bush is convinced that the summit at Bucharest will be successful, despite all the Alliance’s arguments over matters like Afghanistan, Balkan operations and strengthening relations with the Ukraine and Georgia for a possible admission to NATO.
