A study shows that up to 3% of Bucharest pupils drink alcohol on daily basis to solve certain problems or get noticed.
Bucharest pupils are nor afraid to say they enjoy drinking alcohol. According to a study carried out by the Human Relations Institute and made public yesterday, most Bucharest teenagers drink alcohol occasionally but up to 3% drink alcohol on a daily basis.
Half of them admit they drink in order to solve certain problems, to become more popular at a party or only to get noticed by adults.
After the study results were released to the public , Ministry of Education in collaboration with Romanian Police Inspectorate and Romanian Brewers Association launched an educational campaign in Romania’s high schools called “Alcohol doesn’t make you tough”.
