An invited was returned from the door of the studio of Mihai Tatulici, at Cornel Nistorescu’s demand.
The Sunday edition of the show “Deschide Romania” at Realitatea TV confronted with a backstage ego fight of some of t he invitees. The main characters were the journalists themselves, called to debate a hot theme in Romanian journalist life: “Who dictates the law in Romanian press?”
Contacted with two hours before the show, the adjunct editor-in-chief of EVZ, Grigore Cartianu was close to the Realitatea station, when his invitation was withdrawn, at the solicitation of the ex EVZ director, Cornel Nistorescu. Te incident took place against the background of other notable absences Calin Tolontan and Cristian Tudor Popescu.
Mihai Tatulici concluded that there are too many egos and too few talents in the Romanian press. Cornel Nistorescu did not wish to comment. The show brought face to face old and young journalists to identify and debate the problems in press.
