Privatization. CFR Marfa attracted the atention of the French railways operator SNCF, which showed its interest for the privatization of the Romanian operator. The intention is part of SNCF's plan of expansion outside France, said a source close to the French company, quoted by "Financial Times".
SNCF also analyzes the possibility to takeover 49% of the goods division at the Italian group Ferrovie Nord Milano.
