Appointment. Microsoft Romania announced yesterday that the new general manager of the company is Calin Tatomir.
He will take the "helm" of the company from Silviu Tudoran, from October 15. The former manager decided to give up the leadership of Microsoft Romania in order to develop his own business. Tatomir is the director of IT consultancy company "Cabinetul Calin Tatomir" and previously held leadership positions in the former branches in Romania of the Digital companies, where he led the services divisions, and Compaq, where he was Channel Sales Manager and Consumer Business Manager. Calin Tatomir is an engineer by profession, being a graduate of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications of Bucharest, in 1987.
