People from Dolj are bathing in Jiu, in spite of the appearance of six cases of meningitis, from the dirty water.
Few hundred people from Dolj come everyday around the Doljchim Craiova factory to bathe in the Jiu without any fear, although a few days ago, the dirty water led to the sickening of six children.
Those who come here say they do not fear of getting sick and that they choose this way because of the lack of money. The tax for entering a pool in Craiova starts from 10 RON, reason for which many locals choose to chill in this kind of spaces, where the water is dirty, but, as they say, the entertainment is guaranteed.
