President Traian Basescu was not recognized yesterday by the guards at the Harghita Saint Ana reservation, and so he was stopped and made to pay the ticket.
According to Mediafax, at the entrance in the reservation, the president tried to pass, but was stopped by the authorities.
They did not appear to know who is standing in front of them, and only let him pass after he paid the ticket.
Not even the reservation’s custodian Kerezsi Laszlo could spare Basescu from paying the tax, as the preparations for his coming were made inside the park.
The incident did not affect the president as he was photographed along with his wife, Maria, and the tourists in the area.
