Mamaia Nord, a new resort at the Black Sea

The private investors are way ahead the Romanian authorities, in terms tourism development. Without any sort of political show, a new resort is being built between Mamaia and Navodari resorts.

Numerous politicians and businessmen have already bought villas or apartments in the newly emerged resort. The new resort includes apartment buildings, hotels and luxury properties. Because of the smaller taxes paid in Constanta county, investors have managed to build several buildings of almost 400 apartments.

The flats hava a surface between 113 square meters and 160 square meters, and the price per square meter ranges between 900 euros and 1250 euros.

The “Maria Regia”, neighbourhood

The newly built residential neighbourhood near Mamaia is spread on 7,5 ha and is surrounded by a concrete fence. “Maria Regia” was developed by Nicolae Moga, a businessman associated with the former praefect of Braila county, Mihai Manea.

Each villa has a 400 square meters built surface and a backyard of 1.000 square meters, guaranteed heating, telephone and internet services and a barbecue which is connected to the inside fireplace. The villas have a price of about 650.000 euros and can reach 1 million euros in depending on the surface of the property.

The Arena Regia Hotel, which is built after Rome’s Coloseum, will have a five stars rating, 80 rooms and seven apartments, and three pool areas. The complex will also have a SPA center and a plastic surgery clinic with german doctors. Clients will benefit from complete discretion, with the available heliport and a specially reserved villa for recovery.

Another major investment is “Scoica Land”, a complex that will have the largest restaurant in the coast and a 50 room hotel, with a price of 100 euros per night. The restaurant can hold up to 1.200 customers and will be ready by August.

Pollus Center in 2009

The 140 million euros, 105.000 square meters commercial complex will be developed by TriGranit, near Constanta. Pollus Center will have 50.000 square meters available for commercial spaces and will also include a hypermarket.

The project will be finalized in the first trimester of 2009 and will host 170 shops, a multiplex theatre and several restaurants and will offer over 2.000 workplaces.

The Murad apartment houses will be finished in September. The seven apartment buildings, each seven stories high have prices of 1.250 to 1.500 euros per square meters.

The Zelca project will have 400 apartments available near the seashore in the northern side of Mamaia resort. These apartments have 80-150 square meter surfaces and will be sold with 900-1400 euros per square meters.
