PSD is blocking the uni-nominal vote

Since the first meeting of the Commission for changing the Election Code there have been problems.

The PSD deputy Anghel Stanciu holds the “golden vote” and he opposes the election system.

The commission for changing the election code met yesterday, while a month ago, PNL, PSD and PD reached a political agreement assuming the law project of the Pro Democracy Association. PRM, PC and UDMR are against the introduction of the uni-nominal vote.

According to regulations, the major decisions are approved with the acceptation of two thirds of the commission members, mining 10 votes out of 15.
