The audit manager for the Romanian branch of multinational company Ernst&Young died allegedly because of overwork. Legal expertise is expected.
Raluca Stroescu, a 32 years old woman working as audit manager for the Romanian branch of Ernst&Young was found dead at home at the end of last week after not showing up at work. Colleagues say she worked herself to death .
Coroners do not exclude the possibility, saying the most probable cause for death being stress combined with lack of sleep and exhaustion. However, the legal expertise is still to be expected. Representatives of Ernst&Young think otherwise.
They say the cause could not have been overwork and that the reasons for her death are pure speculations until an official explanation.
The weekend has passed and Raluca’s cause of death are still unknown. The last one to see her alive was the doorman who said he helped her climb the stairs.
“She could barely walk, she could not even carry a plastic bottle”, the man said. According to witness' reports the person to find her was her own boss who discovered her after she was supposed to show for work on Saturday morning.
