Anti-corruption prosecutors sent to the Court the last file on the former PM Adrian Nastase, a file in which he is accused of bribing.
In the same file with the former PSD leader, several other former high ranking officials are indicted of bribery.
Ioan Melinescu, former chief of the Romanian anti money-laundering watchdog or ONPCSB, is indicted for bribery, disclosing secret information and forgery.

The investigation in this case started last year, January, when EVZ published a copy of a notification from ONPCSB to the prosecutors about a $400,000 transfer within Nastase,s wife’s account. Soon after , representatives of ONPCSB said that the notification mysteriously disappeared from the archives.
