Prices. In less than a week, Petrom raised its fuel prices with 2.400 old lei.
Yesterday, the company announced that all types of fuels commercialized in its stations will be 0.12 lei more expensive, after, on the 6 of May, the company had taken a similar decision, raising the gas price with 0.12 lei. Petrom's decision looks like a reply given to Varujan Vosganian, the minister of economy and finances.
He said, on Monday, that oil producers profits should not come from price raises and warned on the fact that the Austrians that took over Petrom are paying a reasonable price for the exploitation of Romania's oil reserves. Following this expenses, the cheapest gas, Eco Premium without lead 95, is just under 4 lei per liter, while the most expensive gas and gasoline are at the same price: 4.69 lei.
