High optimism in the Romanian economy. This is the conclusion of a trimestrial poll made by INS among managers and released yesterday.
From the industry to the services, bosses from these fields are expecting constant and strong rises of all the sectors of the national economy. The analysts say that the managers optimism is well founded. The add that the lack of labour power will be the main opponent in the way of the Romanian economy development in the next period.
Growth of bussines and prices
7.000 managers of the commercial societies, interviewed by INS, agreed that the activities on the construction, commerce and services markets will register growths, between April and June, compared to the previous months. In the processing industry, orders and contracts increases will be recorded; exports are also on positive direction (positive answers received by INS increased by 8%), and the romanian products competivity on the European Union market will also increase.
The same managers consider that, in the industrial sector, the employees number will stay constant. On the processing industry, the number of employees will be stable, according to 83% of the expressed opinions. The positive tendencies will be recorded on the retail commerce, constructions and services markets. In constructions, in the next three months, a production growth will be recorded (according to 74% of the managers), together with the stock of contracts and orders (70% of the opinions).
Regarding the prices for industrial products, they will grow in the next period (according to 60% of the interviewed managers), but not as intense as in the previous month. Similar raises are expected by the managers in the case of commerce products, real etates and services.
Away from the US crisis
"I share their optimism (the managers). We live in a cuntry that has a major growth potential in all fields, almost everything in under development... I don't know where they will find the work power for the development, and this is the major constraint", says the financial consultant Bogdan Baltazar. The economist Laurian Lungu, from GEA, says that optimism is "contagious" and "normal" for the European investors.
"The effects of the US crisis were not present in Europe, and Romania was not affected at all. I think that the optimism will last until this Autumn, when we will feel the effects of the crisis" added Laurian Lungu.
