Romanian Violin Student Tries His Luck In London

A young Romanian violinist  seeks success in the capital of the United Kingdom, a city torn between overcrowding and the lust for money  .

London is the same even after the “Romanian invasion” announced by British tabloids  once Romania enjoined EU.

However, among the immigrant workers and Romanian laborers there is a different type of immigrant: one who chose higher studies in the UK and tries his luck on British stages saying he could not have a chance back in Romania . Tudor Andrei is a young Romanian violin player aged 21 and hopes to become famous. He came in UK with only EUR50 in his pocket and was then helped by the Ratiu Foundation which granted him a scholarship.

He was then helped by the Romanian Cultural Institute in London that offered him temporary residency.
