Romanian Princess Margareta Was Future British PM's Girlfriend

For the first time, King Mihai’s daughter talked to the press about her romance 30 years ago with future  British PM, Gordon Brown.  

Princess Margareta  of  Romania experienced in her youth a wonderful love story with current British finance minister  Gordon Brown, who would be UK’s  Premier.

For the first time, Her Highness agreed to talk about her time in Scotland, where she met Gordon Brown, within an interview granted to the British daily “The Telegraph”.

The two did not form one of the prominent couple of the era, but they did, however,  experienced  a very passionate love story, according to the  British paper .

They met 30 years ago when Gordon was a fierce socialist student and she was a young princess. They fell in love and then broke apart because of political differences and each followed their own destiny.
