They ran away from Romania after the Revolution.they are three simple US citizens who now say why they support Romanai’s suspende President, traian Basescu.
One is a former hair stylist who now has a small company .m the other two are a gay right militant and a pensioner who lives in the US since 1979.
Marin Oprea is a New York resident and has a small construction company . he has been active on internet chartrooms and forums where he started supporting President. “I talk a lot with a Romanian in Ireland, one in Germany and two ladies from Bucharest”, he said.
”when I saw what happened in the Parliament I wanted to come in Romania, to Timisoara and raise signatures to make protests like they do here. My internet friends said that Romanians are nor used to do that and my idea wouldn’t work .”, he added.
