Gigi Becali was not granted broadcasting license for his TV station, for the second time at a roll .
Romania’s Audio-Visual watchdog or CNA delayed for three weeks the vote for granting broadcasting license to Becali TV. CNA members suggested Becali to change the name of the station and assume the station legally, by taking over part of the TV station’s shares.
President of New Generation party or PNG and owner of soccer club FC Steaua , Gigi Becali, presented the draft for his TV station project . “I do not want to make either a business television or a political station. I just want to make a television station cleaner than the others”, Becali said promising not to show any porn on TV.
Becali drafted a broadcasting schedule including newsreels, talk-shows on religion, culture, education and science, sports shows, Romanian movies and Sunday masses.
He said he would invest EUR3 million daily and expects to raise profit, there for he would not sign any advertising contracts .
