Dacia will launch today the type Sendero, the five doors car with which the auto producer wants to become a hit in Romania. The orders are going to be taken tomorrow, according to datas supplied by Dacia, but the dealers are saying that the orders will be received in mid June.
The auto producer is targeting sales of 50.000 Sandero until the end of the year, half of the Logan sales for last year. From tomorrow, the hatchback can be ordered, and the first deliveries will be made at the end of June. Dacia dealers say that the orders will be accepted only after June 15.
The car will be available in four motor versions, two on gas, of 1.4 liters and 75 horse power and 1.6 liters of 90 horse power, and two diesel, both of 1.5 liters, with 70 or 85 horse power. The price will not exceed 9.500 euro for the best equipped version, according to datas released by the producer. The basis price of the type will be around 6.500 euro.
The car will be equipped with ABS, airbags and a system for emergency break assistance, a first for Dacia, which reduces the breaking distance with 20%. In Romania, Dacia Sandero will have a warranty which is two times smaller than the one offered on the International markets, of 18 months and 100.000 kilometers. The hatchback Dacia Sandero is 4.02 meters long, and has a trunk volume of 320 liters. In the price range of Sandero are present cars like Fiat Punto, Ford Fiesta, Opel Corsa or Renault Symbol.
