Romanian Audio-Visual Watchdog President Dies Of Heart Attack

Ralu Filip, president of the Romanian audio-visual watchdog or CNA died last night due to  cardiac arrest.

According to medical sources, Radu Filip felt called the ambulance last night as he complained of abdominal pains. He was admitted to the Infection Diseases Institute  "Matei Bals".

MD attempted to resuscitate him for one hour  but with no effect. Death was recorded at 23.10.  

Attila Gasparik, vice-president of   CNA, confirmed this morning that  Ralu Filip did not have any known heart conditions.

Filip was married and had two children.

He was eyed by State Security or Securitate agents during the Communism for his open criticism of the system.
