The public opinion has not remained indifferent to the last scandal involving PSD member Gheorghe Nichita, the present mayor of Iasi, accused of incompatibility.
Evenimentul Zilei revealed two days ago that the mayor had kept his job as a manager at the County Office for Water and Sewers (RAJAC).Our newspaper put to the prefect’s disposal yesterday a part of the documents which stood ground for the enquiry and which prove that the mayor did not quit his former job.
The local counselor from PD, Daniel Oajdea solicited that the mayor honorary resigns, this being the first more radical reaction.
More cases such as this one were resolved by suspending. In April 2006, the PSD mayor of Rosia Montana, Virgil Narita, was suspended for incompatibility by the Alba county prefect.
