A new scandal is poised to reach the FNI issue, around the EUR120 million compensations which the Romanian state must pay to the 21,000 FNI scam investors.
The investors’ complaints aim at the fact that ANI-FNI heads in Bucharest, Ovidiu Mazilescu and Daniel Radulescu, asked them to make a 3% “donation: from the compensations received.
These sums are requested under the pretext of being used to pay the judge executor who will cary out the Court’s orders and make AVAS pay the compensations and the rest will be used to pay ANI-FNI leaders as “bonuses”.
FNI investors signatures are raise on a table stipulating their “definitive accord” for two things : that ANI-FNI should carry out the compensating actions and grant ANI-FNI with 3% of the value of compensations.
If all the 21,000 investors agree, the association may raise up to EUR3, 5 million.
