Among harsh accusations, the two opposing political sides consider the possibility to work together after the referendum on May 19.
Romania’s suspended President, Traian Basescu said during TV show that after the victory on the referendum on May, on his dismissal, he will make “an offer” to the Romanian political class .
”The first thing I will do is to invite the parties for discussion to see if what I propose to them are considered priorities for Romania and we should consider passing them in the Parliament”, Basescu showed.
He named such priorities as the uninominal vote and enacting the lustration laws.
However, the talks after may 19 resemble imposing the President’s own agenda and a political reconciliation.
“I don’t think we can talk about a reconciliation. I will try to make the parties see Romania’s priorities”, Basescu also said.
