As of tomorrow, Bucharest will host its first Formula 3 competition. Traffic in the area will be closed for eight days.
Circulation around Casa Poporului (People’s House, next to Izvor Park) will be completely closed for road traffic for the duration of Bucharest Challenge.
During the competition, authorities drafted various detours to help the traffic flow .
Bucharest Challenge will take place between May 18-20 18 and will contain races from the FIA GT, FIA GT3 and Dacia Logan Cup calendar.
"The crown jewel" will be a British Formula 3 race, a famous competition that was the starting point for many Formula 1 drivers like Ayrton Senna or Mikka Hakkinnen.
The circuit used will be around the People’s House on an area of 3.1 kilometers.
