Walter Ghidibaca, the Romanian journalist imprisoned in Russia for a phony bomb threat returned yesterday to Romania.
He made one more prank, this time to the Romanian journalists: he convoked a press conference and never showed up.
Although his brother confirmed his presence at the press conference, the journalist left town.
The Press looked him up at his last known address but the “hero at Moscow” hasn’t lived at that address for seven years.
However, Ghidibaca explained why he was detained in Russia: he was drunk and when a border customs official asked him what he has in his bag he answered as a joke that he is carrying a bomb.
