RTC Group confirmed yesterday that he bought the bookshop chain "Noi".
RTC officials said that they will mentain the "Noi" bookshop from Dalles Hall in Bucharest, and the management of the group. According to Mediafax, RTC Group bought the majoritary share package of "Noi" - the bookshop in Dalles Hall and the largest book importer in Romania, with a 3.9 millions euro market value in 2007.
"We will not change anything. We will keep the brand and the shop concept from Dalles, a place of prestige, history and emotional charge. We will also keep the management we are taking over. (...) Trough this aquisition, the RTC share on the books market reaches about 25-30 percents", said RTC president, Octavian Radu. The takeover of "Noi" is a new step in the aquisitions plan conceived by RTC. Diverta closed, recently, a contract for the rental of the commercial space of the former store Eva, placed in the central area of Bucharest, for a 20 years period.
