Global warming catches us totally unprepared: only 29% of the used energy in our country is produced from regenerative resources.

Although our country has taken over the obligations imposed by UE regarding the reduction of the gas emissions (with 8 % until 1012 and with 20% until 2020), it has no legal frame which would stimulate the private initiative in this filed by fiscal regulations.
On the other hand, only regenerative and nuclear energy can insure the reduction of the dependency on imports which will grow up from 40% to 70% in 2015 if nothing is done.
Projects for solar energy exist, but they are only experimental, although the potential is a good one. The conditions for exploiting solar, Aeolian or hydrological energies exist, but the authorities have set only general objectives.
