Every Romanian can see how are the European money being spent.
The Ministry of Finance published on its website the list of the companies which contracted works from the projects financed through the pre-adhesion program to ISPA. The lists holds the firms, the value of the contracts, assumed obligations, finalization term and a special column for the actual status of the works.
This type will be applied to all the firms that contracted and will contract works from European funds after the adhesion, said yesterday Eugen Teodorovici, secretary of state from the Ministry of Economy and Finances responsible with EU funds. The authorities canceled 13 contracts from the ISPA funds, for a part of those an auction will be reorganized, according to data published yesterday. According to the state secretary, until now were submitted almost 1.300 projects in order to access post-adhesion funds.
From these, 281 projects were approved, with a total value of approximately 2.5 billions euro. Until the end of the year, MEF representatives are estimating that Romania will attract 2.6 billions euro from European funds, including pre-adhesion programs, post-adhesion and for agriculture.
