Romanians Think Europeans Are Cheapskates

A study carried out by the Government Strategies’ Agency shows that Romanian s, in exchange, consider themselves as being traditionalists, talkative, tense but friendly and professional.

The poll was carried out on a batch of  1,104 people over 17 years old in 98 localities, including Bucharest. Most respondents consider that the fact of being Romanian  is a reason of pride.

In exchange, one third of the respondents who traveled abroad admitted to be in situations where they were ashamed of being Romanians . Over 85% indicated corruption as being a problem and half of the interviewees said that Romania is not  politically steady.

Romanians consider  Germany, France, Italy and the United Kingdom as model states, considering a developed economy, a high living standard and cultural level.
