Romania Needs Engineers

Faculties with technical profiles will make available 23,000 free spots for the 2007-2008 university year.

The most attractive offers come from  engineering sciences departments. Thus 23,000 applicants will gain  admittance in one of the faculties in the field throughout Romania.

Increasing the number of free places available is the effect of an increasing  demand  on the labor market  as some companies are forced to look for qualified p[personnel abroad.

Although all engineering skills are sought for, the  IT, constructions, telecommunications and car making specialties lead the way . Foreign investments and  European Union funding determined Romania’s economic  accelerated growth.

A statistic carried out in the last year at Universitatea Tehnica Cluj-Napoca shows that  90% of the graduates found a job in the first year after finishing their studies.
