Next year we will calculate the inflation by ourselves

The next project of the Romanian statisticians, after the real estate price index, will be the personalized inflation calculator, said INS officials.

Every Romanian will be able to calculate, from next year, the inflation he feels in his pocket. Vergil Voineagu, the president of the National Institute of Statistics (INS), said that he wants to create next year a special calculator on the institution's website which will determine the value of the consume price index for each citizen.

"The calculator can't be made now, because our specialist are involved in the creation of the price index from the real estate market",said Virgil Voineagu. Presently, the Institute of Statistics is calculating and publishes a single inflation index, which is an average for the entire country.

The INS intention of placing at the citizens disposal an mean of calculation of the personalized inflation comes after, last week, EVZ made and published an analysis which states that the Romanians are feeling the inflation differently, especially in for every age, area of living and incomes.

According to the analysts, while a Romanian from the village doesn't feel the expenses almost at all because, practically, he doesn't has spendings for food, accommodation and utilities, and one from the city is "overwhelmed" by a double inflation compared to the one announced officially. The most damaged by the every month expenses are the retired with low incomes from the cities. They are followed by the families of the unemployed and by those where a single parent must support his children. Possible in England

On the website if the Statistics Authority from Great Britain functions a personal calculator of the inflation. In order to find out how every citizens feels the expenses, he must enter in special fields the entire monthly spendings: food from home and form the restaurant, alcoholic drinks, cigarettes, phone calls, clothing and shoes, urban and interurban transport, education, medicines, fuels, heat and electric power. More, the installment expenses: the installment at the credit for the house or the rent, as the property's value. More, the British must select the area they are living in.

In other fields are filled out the value of the yearly value of local taxes and insurances.
