The European Union made an agreement with Turkmenistan that will give EU the right to import, every year, 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas, said Benita Ferrero-Waldner, commissair for Foreign Relations, quoted by "Finacial Times".
On the other hand, Poland and Ukraine signed yesterday an agreement for the construction of an oil pipe that will avoid Russia and connect the Black Sea port Odessa to the border town between the two countries, Brody, according to France Press. The pipe will bring oil from the Caspian Sea. Turkmenistan is one of the possible suppliers of the natural gas pipe Nabucco, taht has a 30 billion cubic meters capacity.
