On the seaside of the Black Sea, at the end of last week, 45.000 tourists were recorded at hotels.
But the number of those who came to the seaside in the weekend was double, many tourists preferring to check in at private housings. As always, most of the tourists preferred the Mamaia resort, their number reaching 15.000. Neither Neptun nor Mangalia lacked in clients, the south of the seaside being occupied over 90%.
“It’s the third weekend I’m coming to Mangalia and I think it’s the best, mostly because the algae are gone. Additionally, it is colder and the sea water is excellent. I did not like that the city hall did not stop the beach commerce, but even so, I will choose the south of the seaside next time too”, said Ioan Marinescu from Brasov.
