Education minister, Cristian Adomnitei, made a fool of himself in front of fifth grade pupils.
He claimed that the European Union flag had 15 stars although the pupils knew for certain that it only has 12.
When a 11 year old child answered that the flag has 12 stars and the minister contradicted him many times saying it has 15. Finally a girl came to the minister and numbered all the stars on a flag and they totaled 12. Even then, the minister told her that she miscounted.
At a press conference he finally admitted his guilt but he blamed his counselors for preparing him a document which said that the EU flag has 15 stars.
