Catalin Avramescu, proposed by the president in the Administration Council of TVR, did not receive the acceptation from the culture commissions.
The commissions’ decision has a consulting status; the candidates are going to be voted in the parliament. “It was a vote against Traian Basescu. I was called at a revealing debate, I was not asked about TVR, but about my political beliefs”, Avramescu said.
For two hours, while Avramescu’s hearing lasted, the parliament members only asked two questions related to the public television, in rest being interested in his opinions regarding the themes launched or related to Traian Basescu.
The commissions gave the ok yesterday regarding the naming of Alexandru Sassu proposed by PSD as president-general manager of TVR. The parliament will vote tomorrow his naming.
The first party in advantage because of the lowering would be PLD, which at this moment has 4%. The second would be PNTCD, which has 2%; Dan Voiculescu’s party recorded 2% in March. In post referendum studies it does not show up.
