The reformed bishop says that he is still available for negotiations with the UDMR leader, although his followers do not wish to run on the union’s list for the euro elections.
From Tusnad, the reformed bishop warned Marko Bella that UDMS risks losing the election threshold if they do not negotiate with the Hungarian radicals.
His main argument was that the civic organizations sustaining him do not agree to him running on the union’s lists for the European Parliament.
With all the peace messages, Marko’s missing at Tusnad was interpreted as a step back on the road of reconciliation with the radicals. “Marko Bella’s idea that all Hungarian community in Transylvania equals UDMR is wrong and should stop”, said Tokes.
