Malfunction. Oltchim is forced to purchase raw materials from other refineries in the next two weeks, because the pyrolysis plant of Arpechim was closed due to a malfunction.

Oltchim will work in this period, at half of its capacity, said the director general of the chemical plant, Constantin Roibu. The petrochemical division of the Arpechim refinery, Petrochemicals Arges, held by Petrom, is the main supplier of raw materials of Oltchim. That plant, and its minority shareholder, Petro Carbo Chem, are interested in taking over Petrochemicals Arges.
