The pensions have made Tariceanu and Geoana come to grips

Calin Popescu Tariceanu and Mircea Geoana searched for a compromise in the problem of increasing the pensions.

Yesterday morning, at Victoria Palace, the two had a rough discussion, where they threatened each other with anticipated elections.

Geoana accused Bogdan Olteanu of preventing the law project of PSD from becoming a reality, project which proposed the increase of the pension point with 45% from the minimum wage.

“If on Monday the project is not put into vote, we are making a motion and the government will fall”, threatened Geoana. Tariceanu replied:” we cannot produce 3 billion euros. If it’s about ambitions, we quit and go to anticipated elections.”

Viorel Hrebenciuc, who assisted at the discussions, tried to mediate the conflict. He proposed a solution of gradual increase of the pensions.
