After the scandals in which ministers Chiuariu and Cioroianu were involved, the liberals gave a trust vote to the Tariceanu cabinet.
The PNL ministers got a trust vote from the Permanent Delegation of PNL. There was a mass voting and took place in a scandal environment. At the end of the week, the liberals went to Brasov for two meetings: one of the Permanent Delegation and the other of the central management.
Chiuariu was accused recently of sending a letter to the European Commission in which he asked the erasing of some passages from the post adhering report. Tariceanu defended him, saying that he had no knowledge of this demanding from the minister.
Regarding Adrian Cioroianu, he was accused by the press of having a humble attitude towards the state secretary of the USA Condolezza Rice, and recently mistook Georgia for Azerbaijan.
