The average number of people working for tax deductible remuneration for the entire country is 60%, and the differences between areas are pretty high.

If in the Bucharest-Ilfov area 95% of the working population is receiving monthly payment, in the north-eastern counties the percentage is around 47%. Also in the Bucharest-Ilfov area there is the smallest number of unpaid people, approximately 5000 persons.
