Overworking, A Serious Issue For Romanian Multi-Nationals

The case of Raluca Stroescu, the young audit manager who died of overwork  exceeded the limits of the act itself, it became an alarm signal for many youths aspiring to a quick advancement and a successful career .

Many of them decided to start talking of the inhumane sacrifices they must endure in order to achieve their quick successful career. EVZ presents the story of a family of intellectuals who prefer to remain anonymous.

He was working as a  manager in a multi-national fulfilling the task of  three  or four people (“the team was supposed to have 12 men and I only had 4 subordinates”) and she was a researcher.

Their family life  reduced to almost nothing since he had his office 700 kilometers off his daughter and wife and only seen them every two weeks.

After a few months of continuous stress and fatigue, the father decided to but his job and he started looking for a job in Bucharest. He says he is not afraid of not finding a job, but rather feels free to spend more time with his family.
