Mircea Geoana And Vadim Tudor, Silent Partners

Main opposition parties PSD and  PRM organized a common meeting yesterday, in Bucharest, but their leaders did not march together.

Although they gathered people from all Counties in Romania, PSD, PRM, PC and  PNL, the anti-presidential Coalition only managed to raise 15,000 for the meeting organized on the plateau in front of the Romanian Military Academy.

However, their initial estimations were much more optimistic. The anti-Basesco “brotherhood” hoped for  the biggest rally ever: 80,000 people.

The top moment was reached when a helicopter belonging to the Antena 1 TV station circled the area and PRM leader started shouting that  it was sent by Basescu  to spy on the people at the gathering.
