Influence. London is the most powerfull commercial center of the world's economy, and Europe is the best represented in the regions rankings, with 28 cities in the first 75 of the world, according to a study made by MasterCard.

Concomitantly, 40% of the first 25 commercial cities in the world are from the European continent. it is shown in the study MasterCard Worldwide Centers of Commerce Index 2008. The analysis evaluates the way in which the cities from all over the world are fulfilling important tasks which are connecting the markets to the commerce at a world level. First in the top of commercial centers is London, the following four positions are occupied by New York, Tokio, Singapore and Chicago.
